Value and Other Information:   These are absolutely beautiful bank notes. They were issued in 1869 and generally referred to as “rainbow notes” because of their colorful paper. As collectors we are fortunate that a group of these has survived in very high grades. Your typical value range is probably $10,000 to $30,000, with choice uncirculated examples being worth more than that. Each note was signed by Allison and Spinner. All of the serial numbers end with a star symbol.

We buy all of these $50 bank notes issued by The United States. No matter your intention, you definitely want to have your $50 bill checked out before deciding what to do with it. We have to see pictures in order to provide any sort of price or authenticity information. You can text pictures to 864-430-4020. You can also attach pictures to an email message. You’ll never know what we would have offered unless you ask. The value might surprise you in a good way.
