Price Guide for 1923 One Dollar Banknotes

        Year:  1923

        Denomination:  One Dollar Bank Note

Type:  Legal Tender (United States Note)

        $1 Bill Front Picture:

Description:   These are the last large size legal tender notes issued by The United States.

Seal Type:  These bank notes all have the same red seal as you see above.

Varieties:   There are no signature varieties for the 1923 $1 red seal note. They were all signed by Speelman and White.

        Portrait:  George Washington

Value:  A heavily circulated 1923 $1 red seal should be worth about $50. Nicer looking notes generally sell for around $150. There are lots of choice uncirculated notes from this series. They can be worth in excess of $350. You should also keep an eye out for low serial numbers and star notes, as those would be worth more than the stated prices above. Please contact us for exact pricing.

We buy all of these 1923 $1 bank notes from The United States. The seal type, signature combination, serial number, and condition are very important. We have to see pictures in order to provide any value information. You can text pictures to 864-430-4020. You can also attach pictures to an email message. Please give us a chance to make an offer. The value might surprise you in a good way.
